A passion for all that is tasty and beautiful is what drove Jacqueline Jacek (née LaBerge) to learn the art of confectionary making. Since 2003, she has been studying the physiology of chocolate, mastering techniques and developing recipes for her edible creations. The fusion of her love for fashion and food has resulted in a unique boutique style collection that is continuously evolving.


She officially launched the JACEK Chocolate Couture brand on 1 December, 2009.

In addition to her line of chocolates, Jacqueline also facilitates chocolate tasting evenings. These events are fun and educational workshops that are all about chocolate; tasting, history, myths etc.


She also designs customized wedding favors and corporate branded gifts.


The JACEK Chocolate Couture Studio is located just outside Edmonton in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Our mission is to thrill your senses through exquisite taste, captivating aroma and haute couture design.

What is a Cocoanista?


Jacqueline Jacek is the world’s first Cocoanista; a fusion between a Fashionista & a Chocolatier. A Cocoanista applies the principles of haute couture in the creation of artisan chocolates. These principles include expression through shape & colour (and the additional dimension of flavour in chocolate), intricate construction, innovative technique and the use of the highest quality components to create truly exceptional works of art.
